    As a kid, Sean Kenney spent lots of time building creations with LEGO bricks, but he never thought he would make a career out of his hobby. Although passionate about art, Sean majored in Computer Science, with a minor in Philosophy at Rutgers University. While in college, Sean drew a daily cartoon for the student newspaper and took classes in the arts, but after graduating into the dot-com boom, he spent 10 years designing web site interfaces and web user experiences. Sean was not satisfied with his work and often took solace from the daily grind by building with his LEGO bricks. Eventually, Sean knew that toiling in a desk job just didn’t suit him – or his inner child – and he decided to depart from the expected career path to pursue his own creative endeavors.

    Greg “Cosmo D” Heffernan is a cellist whose musical passions have led him to work in improvisation, jazz and electronic music. Based in New York City, Greg works as a freelancer, bandleader and touring musician.

    He has recorded several albums with his band, Sauce, and one of his compositions for the band made its Carnegie Hall debut in early 2008.

    As “Cosmo D,” he performs, alone or with others, combining his use of live laptop manipulation with cello improvisation.
